Since Saturday morning cartoons, I’ve been deeply moved by animation’s ability to take us anywhere, in all the ways that we could possibly imagine. Struck by the way in which worlds and ideas are able to be brought to life in colours and shapes. I’ve been excited by the idea that one person in a room, with enough time and conviction, can open doors to untold realms and stories. I love all the different mediums of animation, and ways to render a desired feel and convey emotion, and get excited by the prospect of experimenting.
